We publish works related to the enjoyment, well-being, and survival of parrots and other birds. We are not adverse to controversy, as long as it relates to parrots or other birds.

If your book is focused on the enjoyment, well-being, or survival of parrots or other birds, please query first.  We do not acknowledge, consider, or return manuscripts that have not been directly requested.

Do not send us your only copy of your work; see above.

Here are some the things we look for in your query:
✦   a  brief synopsis of the manuscript, including length
✦   why you are the best person to write this manuscript
✦   a brief listing of your credentials and/or previous publications, if any
✦   the first five to seven pages of your manuscript (not including forewords or other front matter)
✦   evidence that you know the basics of writing (spelling, grammar, etc.)

To keep our expenses down, we accept electronic queries and submissions only; no manuscripts or queries sent by postal mail will be acknowledged, considered, or returned.
